Jeremy Leigh
Jeremy Leigh is our Drains Lead. He has 20 years of experience in the plumbing industry and has been a dedicated team member since 2022. His passion for plumbing was ignited at an early age, growing up in a family-owned plumbing business. In his role, Jeremy is responsible for identifying drainage issues and future complications, as well as delivering high quality and practical solutions. Jeremy's wealth of experience, coupled with his commitment to open and honest communication, makes him an invaluable asset to our team, a trusted team leader, and reliable expert for our customers.

"I have had the pleasure to work with many great people, in many interesting places. One of my favourites was working at Gretzky’s restaurant, where I had the opportunity to oversee the renovation of the bar. On a professional level, it is all about the people you get to work with in order to create something that not only looks good, but functions well for the customer."
What are the greatest strengths you possess that makes you an asset to our team and customers?
"Experience and integrity are the strengths I’m most proud of. Over the years, being involved in many different aspects of the plumbing trade has given me a greater understanding of what to expect and how to solve different problems that we come across. I am always sure to be as open and honest with customers about the problems at hand as well as the solutions necessary to fix them."
When you're not fixing pipes, what are your favorite hobbies or interests?
"The outdoors. I love a good hike on a trail or bike ride. "
Share a fun fact or quirk about yourself that your colleagues and customers might find interesting.
"I used to teach rock climbing and high ropes courses. I also served in the Canadian military!"
Are there any community or charity activities you're passionate about or involved in?
"Shoeboxes. The idea is to fill a shoe box with toys and send them off to children in poverty situations for Christmas time. "
What do you hope to achieve personally and professionally in the next 5 years?
"Professionally, I would like to oversee multiple crews within our drains side Watermark Plumbing and Drains. Personally, I am trying to survive having two, high school aged kids!"
Brad Beechener
Brad Beechener is a Licensed Plumbing Technician at Watermark Plumbing and Drains. He has over 7 years of experience in the plumbing industry and has been a valued member of our team since 2022. Brad was motivated to become a plumber by his uncle, who is the owner of a successful plumbing business. In his role, Brad is responsible for completing both plumbing service and small renovations, while providing excellent customer service. He is an exceptional problem solver and is sure to keep an open line of communication with the customers he works with. Brad's ability to get to the root of a problem, coupled with his commitment to creating a lifetime customer with every call, makes him a vital part of our team.

"Becoming a licensed plumber was one of my proudest achievements so far in my career."
Tell us about a plumbing-related challenge you successfully solved that you're particularly proud of.
"Early in my career during the apprenticeship stage, I was quite proud of being given the opportunity to take on solo plumbing installations, which had the inspections passed with flying colours. More recently, I’m most proud of the jobs where customers have called other plumbers to attempt to fix an issue without success, but I am able to apply my abilities and find a solution.."
What is the greatest strength you possess that makes you an asset to our team and customers?
"I feel that I’m knowledgeable in many different aspects of the plumbing field. I’m a very good listener and will give customers all the time they need. I’m a very friendly person and compassionate with the customers I help. "
When you're not fixing pipes, what are your favorite hobbies or interests?
"I enjoy cooking and smoking various foods. I also love getting away to the cottage on the weekends, watching sports, travelling, and spending time with friends and family."
Share a fun fact or quirk about yourself that your colleagues and customers might find interesting.
"In my spare time, I like to DJ. I have performed at parties, on social media during COVID, and even at a bar. I also have made live DJ mixes for friends during special events."
What do you hope to achieve personally and professionally in the next 5 years?
"I hope to have my dream house built on my property up north."
Glenn Mendes
Glenn Mendes is a Senior Apprentice with Watermark Plumbing and Drains and has been a valued member of our team since 2021. Glenn’s interest in becoming a plumber was sparked by his cousin, who also works in the plumbing industry. Glenn’s journey into the trade started in 2018, when he enrolled in a pre-apprenticeship program at The College of Skilled Trades. Since joining our team, Glenn’s skillset has grown substantially and he has proven himself to be a leader within our team. His dedication to finding a positive solution for the customers he serves makes him a stand out part of the Watermark Plumbing and Drains team.

Tell us about a plumbing-related challenge you successfully solved that you're particularly proud of.
"There have been many challenges along the way, but learning all of the necessary pieces of information to be able to take on underground drain projects has been my greatest success."
What is the greatest strength you possess that makes you an asset to our team and customers?
"I strongly believe work ethic and professionalism are my greatest strengths."
When you're not fixing pipes, what are your favorite hobbies or interests?
"I love building computers, as well as playing and watching soccer in my free time."

"I can do a spot-on impression of Kermit the frog."
Are there any community or charity activities you're passionate about or involved in?
"I enjoy volunteering at animal shelters."
What do you hope to achieve personally and professionally in the next 5 years?
"In 5 years I would love to run my own crew."
Sarah Brewer
Sarah Brewer is a Dispatcher at Watermark Plumbing and Drains and has been a valued member of the team since 2021. She has 15 years of experience in customer service, having previously worked in the restaurant industry. Sarah has quickly learned the fundamentals of the plumbing industry and her management of complex scheduling, customer requests, and ability to engage in honest and compassionate communication makes her an integral part of the Watermark Plumbing and Drains team.

"The knowledge I’ve gained in my time at Watermark is my highest achievement! I went from knowing virtually nothing about the plumbing industry, to being able to answer most inquiries with little to no input!"
What are the greatest strengths you possess that makes you an asset to our team and customers?
"My customer service background brings a friendliness and approachability that people don't always expect from the trades! I'm able to communicate well with the technicians, and put customers at ease."
When you're not at work, what are your favorite hobbies or interests?
"I love to watch movies, play guitar, and do cross-stitch. I also help my husband run two restaurants by taking care of the administrative and social media work."

"I have my pilot's license."
Are there any community or charity activities you're passionate about or involved in?
"During COVID, my husband and I delivered dinners to a community centre. It was amazing to see some of the same faces come specifically for our food each week!"
What do you hope to achieve personally and professionally in the next 5 years?
"As Watermark continues to grow, I hope to take on more responsibilities outside of my base role, and train others to do what I do now."
